The Nooksack (/ ˈ n ʊ k s æ k /; Nooksack: Noxwsʼáʔaq) are a federally recognized Native American people in the Pacific Northwest Coast. The tribe lives in the mainland northwest corner of Washington state in the United States along the Nooksack River and near the small town of Deming (in western Whatcom County).
